The committee for screening of teachers under the J-Teach program in Jigawa State is informing the remaining teachers who have not been screened for other reasons, that the committee has set Tuesday next week as the last day for the screening exercise.

Therefore, the committee informs the affected teachers to gather on Tuesday, the 11th of this month at the office of the special assistant to the governor on the payment of salaries and related matters, Nuraddeen Suleiman Jidawa, at block A of the new state secretariat in Dutse by eight o’clock in the morning.

Meanwhile, Jigawa State association of teachers under J-Teach program has expressed its satisfaction with the ongoing screening of teachers by the screening committee across the state.

The chairman of the association, Comrade Amadu Ahmed made this known to newsmen in Dutse. Amadu Ahmed said the screening exercise was conducted to get rid of forged certificates and unqualified teachers.
